We were excited to be on the radio not once but twice last week! Chad Harbach, author of the blockbuster Issue 10 piece “MFA vs. NYC,” was interviewed on “All Things Considered,” and in the ongoing drama of our new book What Was the Hipster?, Mark Greif appeared on WBAI. Chad’s segment was surprisingly hard-hitting: reporter Audie Cornish insisted that he say whether he thought MFA or NYC would win. (“Don’t try and duck out of it, my friend.”) And Mark’s interview with Kiera Feldman and Marissa Brostoff was an amazing précis of some of the best parts of the book, revealing among other things the latent racism of Vice. You should listen to them both, and buy the issue and book!
